SAT, ACT, ISEE, GRE, GMAT Prep & More
We Specialize in Standardized Test Preparation.
All of our test-prep tutors are required to have recently scored in the 95th percentile or above on any standardized test that they teach.
We try to be as flexible as possible with regard to lesson times. We understand that many students have very busy schedules, and are happy to accommodate each student's needs. We schedule lessons on a first-come, first-serve basis, and are available 7 days a week, 9AM-9PM.
Short-Term Test Preparation
For those of you who do have at least 3 weeks remaining before your test date, a full preparation is possible if you work hard enough. Students should meet with our tutors at least twice a week (3x a week if needed), for approximately 10-15 lessons of 1.5 hours each. This type of short-term preparation requires that the student be able to devote a substantial amount of time and effort to the task at hand. Homework will be assigned, and as the test date approaches, several practice tests will be administered in order to gauge the student's progress. Average homework time: 3 hrs per lesson for 3 weeks, 1.5 hours per lesson for 6 weeks.
Long-Term Test Preparation
Some students prefer to make sure they are prepared well before it comes time to take the actual test. For example, high PSAT scores can earn scholarships, not to mention build confidence for the actual SAT. By starting early, students will get a head start on the rest of their classmates, and will be able to prepare gradually, making sure that they are ready for all aspects of the test. This type of long-term preparation is especially helpful in verbal sections, where a strong vocabulary (built over time!) can make a tremendous difference in one's scores.
